Following the conclusion of the H-1B visa draw last week, over 200 highly skilled African professionals from 13 recruited partners are poised to join the dynamic US technology workforce. Launched in January 2024, WorldForce™ is a trailblazing initiative with an ambitious goal: empowering 50,000 skilled individuals across Africa with their H-1B visa applications while collaborating with companies of all sizes especially big tech and big consulting. The H-1B visa program acts as a valuable gateway for foreign professionals with specialized skills to work in the US. However, securing a visa can be a complex and intensely competitive process, often riddled with bureaucratic intricacies and financial obstacles. WorldForce™ steps in to bridge this gap by providing comprehensive support and expert guidance throughout the entire application journey, empowering talented individuals to navigate the complexities and pursue their American dreams.

The draws have concluded, with hundreds now selected. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) confirmed that they received sufficient electronic registrations during the initial period to meet the FY 2025 H-1B cap. USCIS has completed the random selection process, and Vesti has notified all selected beneficiaries that they are now eligible to file an H-1B cap-subject petition. The filing period for H-1B cap petitions began on April 1, and USCIS has announced that it will last at least 90 days. Vesti is urging the 200+ Africans through its WorldForce™ to file as soon as possible to avoid potential delays. The next step is to proceed to the H-1B Petition filing stage where their credentials and their employer’s document’s will be submitted to the USCIS for consideration.
