For online shoppers in Nigeria, days of saving up eternally to buy a single product may very well be over. Jumia Nigeria in partnership with Nigeria’s FirstBank Limited is making this possible via the new FirstBank Naira Credit Card which enables customers buy their products of choice and pay later in installments.

In an official statement made available to TechCabal, FirstBanks says, “Customers need not go through the hassle of visiting the banking hall for a FirstBank Naira Card. Applying directly on the Jumia website

while they place their order does the trick.”

“This unique partnership with Jumia Nigeria will take customer experience to another level like we have never seen before in e-commerce. Apart from having a wide assortment of products and excellent services available to customers, the FirstBank Naira Credit Card also empowers them to purchase the items conveniently”, says FirstBank E-Business’ frontman, Chuma Ezirim.

With the new service, shoppers can enjoy longer payments lead times gaining up to 45 interest-free days with delivery between 10-12 days. Applications for the Naira Credit Card are processed and confirmed within 72 hours once the order has been placed on Jumia.
